Shhhh... Less is More

It's the Holiday Season. Christmas, whether you celebrate it or not, has turned your office into a "sort of working, but not" environment. Everyone comes to work on Tuesday, but the air of "sort of working, but not" is still in effect due to New Year's being next; in 4 days. With all of this merriment, in the back of everyone's mind are thoughts of 2018. What will the new year bring to this company, to the business world, to my career.

No one needs to talk about the pink (Female Power) elephant in the room; What will January bring? Well, I'll tell you 2018 is going to bring a new way of maneuvering in the world of work. Networking will need to have a more intentional focus, continued learning will require you to think a few levels before your end goal as to what you should sign-up for, what projects you sign-up for will need to have a more global appeal. I know, in the midst of your fruit cake, holiday cocktail, sugar cookie haze this is a lot to take in; well not to worry.
