A Firm Foot, not where you think.

Accountability is good, but discipline is even better; just ask Misty Copeland. Success is more than just landing the job and doing your best, it's also about building a lifestyle of success. Success cannot be compartmentalized. Your lifestyle has to be a part of the plan for success.
Do you have a schedule for your laundry? Is there a certain day you "check-in" on connections you're working to build? When do you grocery shop, even if you order on-line, which day is that? What time do you wind down? What is your podcast or reading schedule? Are you exercising in the morning or evening? When do you connect with family and friends? Which day is your cleaning day? What about personal maintenance, doctor's appointments, hair appointments, manicures, massages, waxing, therapy?
I know, it's an onslaught of questions but these are some of the elements you should have in place to ensure your foundation for building success is in place. Again, it's not just about your career its about everything that is connected to you. "Stay Ready so you don't have to Get Ready." There is no such thing as an "overnight success", which means success is a process. Which also means, you won't wake up be successful then have space to figure out how everything in your personal life is going to get done. Nope, you need to have those systems and the discipline to keep up with them in place.
This post isn't to shame you or make you feel bad. It's to help you to Get Your Stuff together! It's the middle of February 2021. If we've learned nothing in 2020, it's that you should not put off the things you should or want to do. Get it together now! Don't wait until Monday, next month or a "good day". Start now. Your ability to sustain the success you're working towards depends on it.
