One Day It Will Be You

Feeling like it's never going to happen is more common than you think. When you talk to anyone who has gotten the promotion, landed an awesome job, or started working for their dream company eventually the words "I didn't think I would ever ...." will be said.

So don't lose faith. Don't lose sight of your goals. And whatever you do, DON'T GIVE UP! Keep increasing your skills, growing your network, taking on responsibility.

Another statement you'll here from the people who got the promotion, landed the awesome job or started working for their dream company is "I kept thinking it would come from ..... but this took me by surprise"; the next level almost always looks different than how you pictured it would look. And it will come as a source or from a source you had not thought it would.

So stay open. Be resourceful. Don't shun what you haven't seen before. It's just exactly made for you which means it will never be what you thought it was going to be.

If it feels like the better part of career is happening to everyone but you, it's not. The wheel is still spinning to line you up for the perfect place/position/and function. DON'T GIVE UP!
